The food is amazing, after being in the area for several days. I couldn't help but over hear the locals rave about the food and portions and prices. I had to check it out for myself. This is a Caribbean experience like no other! The absolute best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant like this, the best jerk chicken rice +peas combo I’ve ever had, and delivered by the nicest lady working cashier. I’m making this my new jerk spot and have already recommended to people as I’m doing here! Great spot
Dec 2023 - THE FOOD CONTINUES TO BE DELICIOUS. I almost don't want you guys to come because the line would be longer, but I promise you it is worth the drive and effort. Previous Review Oooh - the food is just delicious. That's it - all you need to know. Worth the journey. I want to give a special shoutout to Camille (afternoon shift) and to Sheryl (morning shift) who helped me take care of an order when I called in an issue. Lovely customer service.
Just Jerk has the perfect blend of spices. Food is NOT salty. I have tried other caribbean restaurants and their food is no comparison to Just Jerk. I enjoy going there. The staff is friendly, professional and courteous. They have the BEST Beef Patties in the DMV.
I had the Oaxtails dinner and it was delicious. I’m a very picky eater. I will say the meat was so tender on the Oaxtails and very favorable and they provided you with a larger portion. I will be definitely coming back for more.
The food was good, even though they ran out of most of the food, the jerk chicken, cabbage and plantains were good. The best jerk chicken I have tasted. I've been to Jamaica, but on a resort and the jerk chicken there wasn't as good as this business (Just Jerk) there's jerk chicken is great.
Five years since my last visit, Just Jerk has still got it - in fact, it is even better than I remember. The jerk chicken was smoked to perfection, crispy on the outside while being fall off the bone tender on the inside. The chicken was also seasoned to perfection. I could see myself eating here 3x a week, if I still lived near Lanham. It just barely edges out Charga as the best chicken place in the DMV area - get your a*s down here and try it.
They have amazing authentic jerk food. Prices are competitive but not too high which makes me keep coming back. Service is the best for Jamaicans spots sometimes customer service isn't kind. They are very kind and patient. They also have amazing vegan options most I have seen from Jamaican spots inclusivity. Vegan jerk plenty try.
